Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU is seeking a part-time PRN Pulmonology Provider to contribute to the success of our Pediatric Pulmonology program. As a faculty member, you will maintain a practice in Pediatric Pulmonology, both in the outpatient and inpatient setting, and work weekends. Your teaching responsibilities will include educating Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows in Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical: Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Teaching: Teach and mentor Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows in Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine.
- Research: Pursue research aspirations, with support dependent on prior accomplishments and potential.
- Service: Serve on departmental or School of Medicine committees and contribute to professional organizations.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology.
- Training in Pediatric Pulmonology.
- Experience in clinical care of patients ages birth to 21.
- Experience in education of house staff, medical students, and others.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Previous experience in an academic medical center.
- Research focus and/or external funding.
- Excellent teaching skills.
