Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Requirements Gathering: Develop, maintain, and revise project documents, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaison between the Information Technology Division (ITD) and external customers on technical aspects of assigned IT and IT support projects.
- Communication: Establish and implement project communication plans, providing status during all project phases.
- Analysis: Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to prepare project status reports.
- Requirements Definition: Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to ensure technical and functional requirements are clearly defined, documented, and understood.
- Test Planning: Develop test plans and test cases to ensure that the developed solutions meet business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes to identify areas of improvement or opportunities for automation.
- Policy Development: Provide input and best practice recommendations to current and future policies and procedures as needed or requested.
- Technical Review: Conduct internal technical reviews to improve performance, support, and technical enhancements.
- Program Management: Assist with management and oversight of assigned IT programs.
- Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate new and emerging IT technology and present senior leaders with strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats in decision-making.
- Project Prioritization: Recommended adjustments/modifications to current and future IT project priorities to meet changing business needs, program plans, goals, and objectives.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience directly leading medium to enterprise-level IT projects.
- Tools and Experience: Agile/Scrum Project Management Methodology, Azure DevOps, Requirements Gathering, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategic Planning.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Agile PMP Certification, or equivalent level certification.
- Education: Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, conflict resolution, teamwork, excellent written and oral communication skills, creative thinking, and attention to detail.
