Job Title: Project Manager

Business Performance Systems, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex radio communications systems, radio assets, technical issues, and program challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage in analytical and evaluative duties to execute radio and wireless programs, projects, technical and budgetary functions.
  • Review quantitative data and reports for accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in managing and controlling program-related documentation.
  • Develop policies and procedures as required.
  • Develop and catalog radio systems drawings and diagrams.
  • Perform special studies, analyses, and reports to ensure compliance with Departmental and Federal policies, regulations, and business practices.
  • Analyze program resources to determine the impact of proposed new tasks against existing workload.
  • Conduct on-site surveys and inspections of radio personal property and facilities assets.
  • Assist in developing Internal Control Review Programs.
  • Brief staff on progress of audits and evaluations.
  • Analyze and evaluate audit recommendations.
  • Perform asset management roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop life-cycle replacement policies, plans, and strategies for radio-related assets.
  • Serve as the Program's Asset Management Liaison.
  • Lead the program staff in incorporating and managing a radio help desk ticketing presence.
  • Manage and maintain content and administer user access of established SharePoint sites, portals, webpages, and/or content management systems.
  • Respond to requests for program-related information.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for management studies.
  • Assist in data calls to Departmental budgetary and Capitol Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) requests for information.
  • Utilize and/or develop local or DOI provided/sponsored tools for data calls/surveys.
  • Provide weekly reporting on program-related projects and activities.
  • Help develop, edit, and publish a quarterly newsletter for the Service-wide Radio Program.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related IT field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, preferably as a project manager or program analyst.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • 2+ years of data analysis experience.
  • 1+ years of help desk experience.
  • 1+ years of policy and procedure development experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with internal control reviews/evaluations/audits and recommendations.
  • 1+ years of experience with asset management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent MS-Office skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
Compensation:
  • $107,000-$119,000/yr, based on capability and experience.
