Job Summary

Martin's Point Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the internal Facilities team and manage all facility capital projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all sites are safe, well-maintained, secure, up to code, and attractive for employees, customers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects at MPHC facilities to ensure company buildings meet business needs, function smoothly, and provide comfortable and safe working conditions.
  • Lead cross-enterprise strategic improvement efforts and track project timelines, outcomes, and assessments to maintain project schedules.
  • Provide leadership and project management support for the design, build, and implementation of infrastructure and solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement communication plans for all projects and establish measurement criteria to assess project effectiveness.
  • Conduct project close activities to ensure project objectives were met and provide direction to all facilities staff.
  • Ensure building systems are operating at an optimal level and work effectively with third-party contractors and internal Supply Chain management.
  • Oversee the servicing and repairs for all utilities and equipment for all Martin's Point sites.
  • Work closely with the VP of Support Services to manage the facility capital budget and implement the Facility Master Plan.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
  • 5+ years of Facility Engineering experience, leading facilities staff while overseeing large capital projects of at least $50 million in spend.
  • Superb critical thinking skills, in-depth knowledge of planning and systems, and excellent communication skills.
  • Management skills, including demonstrated expertise managing teams and multi-disciplinary workgroups in achieving team objectives.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, ability to balance high-level strategic work alongside detailed, operational execution of action plans, and ability to prioritize time and task efficiently and effectively.
