About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to join our team at Uplinq. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive accounting tasks, ensuring seamless operations, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and optimize setups for Uplinq's bookkeeping services, completing monthly and quarterly reviews and closes.
  • Troubleshoot accounting issues and develop strategic action plans for extensive accounting projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to refine and tailor accounting services, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Mentor and train junior Accounting Specialists, teaching higher-level accounting skills and resolution of complex bookkeeping issues.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cash and accrual-based accounting, with a preference for those with multi-client experience.
  • Expertise in financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and U.S. GAAP compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex catch-up and clean-up projects efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey and explain intricate accounting data to clients.
