We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist Float to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Imaging (75%)
- Perform MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury.
- Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination.
- Prepare patients for MR procedures, explaining the procedure and providing patient support throughout the exam.
- Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
- Imaging Support (20%)
- Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
- Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
- Monitor medical supply inventory.
- Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.
- Other Duties (5%)
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in MRI technology and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
