Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist Float to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and advanced MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining equipment in good working order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Imaging (75%)
    • Perform MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision or repeats.
    • Screen patients for precautions or contraindications before exams.
    • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and providing support throughout.
    • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
    • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
    • Converse with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
    • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations.
    • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
    • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits.
  • Imaging Support (20%)
    • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
    • Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
    • Monitor medical supply inventory.
    • Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.
  • Other Duties (5%)
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
