Position Overview

Leidos is looking for a Senior Risk Management Program Lead to enhance our Modernization Program in collaboration with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). This role is pivotal in identifying, assessing, and managing programmatic risks while providing comprehensive technical and programmatic risk management support. The successful candidate will engage closely with various stakeholders, including the Federal Program Office (FPO) and NNSA National Laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement effective risk and issue management strategies.
  • Provide specialized knowledge in proactive risk identification and management.
  • Continuously evaluate the program for potential risks and analyze their implications.
  • Devise robust risk mitigation strategies and issue management plans.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to effectively communicate and address risks.
  • Generate regular risk reports and promote a culture of risk awareness within the program.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices in risk management.
  • Facilitate meetings focused on programmatic risk management.
  • Assess risk mitigation costs and maintain risk information in the designated repository.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a High school diploma with at least 12 years of experience.
  • Possession of an active DoD Top Secret or DOE Q security clearance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NNSA/DOD interagency operations and nuclear weapons.
  • Familiarity with ARM software and Deltek Acumen Fuse.
  • Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) Certification.
  • Experience in risk management within NNSA weapons programs.

Compensation: Salary range is between $120K and $130K.
