We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer Manager to lead our controls teams and drive efficiencies in our manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering and experience in managing controls teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the controls support efforts for equipment downtime conditions.
  • Implement designs and processes to increase equipment reliability.
  • Manage the company's controls and instrumentation architecture future projects.
  • Evaluate needs and implement a controls obsolescence replacement plan.
  • Develop standardization for documentation of digital control systems.
  • Provide onsite coordination of maintenance personnel, plant engineering, department engineers, and outside contractors.
  • Supervise staff engineers in Plant Engineering in the controls disciplines for project development, budget preparation, and project execution.
  • Prepare specifications for the purchase of materials, components, systems, services, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • At least 8 years of controls-focused industrial or manufacturing experience.
  • At least 3 years of formal leadership experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
