- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Leadership and Team Management
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Quality and Safety
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with established quality and safety procedures and protocols.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with management, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are integrated with other business functions.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical trade school, military training, or technical college preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial facilities and equipment maintenance.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of industrial facilities and equipment maintenance principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering documents and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office and MPulse.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, push, pull, lift, climb, bend, stoop, squat, walk, and use manual dexterity to work with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and heavier weights using appropriate equipment and/or team lifting.
- Ability to work in an environment that may contain non-toxic fumes, dust, odors, moderate level noise, and temperature and ventilation variations while wearing appropriate safety and/or protective clean room apparel.
- Work environment may involve exposure to inclement weather.
- May require working in cramped spaces and extending hands into machinery.
