Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Automated Systems: Develop and implement cutting-edge control systems to enhance automation across various production lines, focusing on improving system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to develop and refine automated processes that drive operational efficiency.
  • Lead Technology Integration: Lead the integration of new control technologies into existing systems, ensuring seamless operation and minimal disruption to production activities.
  • Optimize Automation Processes: Identify opportunities for enhancing automation processes and controls, developing and implementing solutions that reduce downtime and improve productivity.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer ongoing technical support to ensure optimal performance of automation systems, addressing and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Program and Fine-Tune Control Software and Hardware: Program and fine-tune control software and hardware, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems, to achieve desired operational outcomes.
  • Maintain Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation of control systems and ensure all automated processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in controls engineering, with a strong foundation in automation and robotics.
  • Skills: Skilled in PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems, with in-depth knowledge of Allen Bradley systems, robotics, and ladder logic.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 40% of the time to support system installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts.
