Job Summary

The Springboard Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. As an Intern or Associate Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to the development of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct client services, including individual, group, didactic, and family education and counseling.
  • Perform case management duties, ensuring timely submission of all treatment documentation, reports, and forms necessary for efficient program operation and quality care.
  • Participate in program development and staff training initiatives.
  • Prepare and coordinate individualized aftercare and discharge plans, focusing on the client's needs, effectiveness, and optimal use of family and community resources.
  • Complete initial evaluations and psychosocial assessments as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor or Director of Clinical Services, within the scope of your license.
Qualifications:
  • LPC-A or LCDC-I (Practicum students may be considered if they will receive their degree by the end of 2024).
  • Personal experience in recovery is a plus, but not required.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment and random drug testing.
