About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Emory University Hospital. As a vital part of our integrated academic healthcare system, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures, including vascular, surgical oncology, and general abdominal procedures.
  • Supervise student anesthetists and participate in clinical research projects.
  • Interpret and record patient physiological and pharmacological status, and assist the anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-op data.
  • Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patients prior to, during, and after anesthesia or in other acute care situations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Master's Degree program.
  • Must maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs).
