About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Emory University Hospital Midtown. As a vital member of our anesthesia care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our integrated academic healthcare system.

Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including oncology, vascular, neuro, and general surgery.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in research projects and contribute to the development of new anesthesia protocols and techniques.
  • Manage pre- and post-anesthetic care, including ventilator management and other respiratory care parameters.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) program.
  • Biannual certification through Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
