Job Summary:

The Executive Housekeeper will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, supervising a team of housekeepers to ensure that all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective room cleaning and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that all rooms meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve housekeeping efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and control housekeeping expenses to ensure they are within budget.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping equipment and supplies are maintained and replaced as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the hotel management team.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to supervise and train staff.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and push/pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
