Key Responsibilities- Provide Nursing Services
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, including resident teaching, wellness counseling, health promotion, disease prevention, and provision of care and services to residents with chronic and stable conditions.
- Verify residents' medication regimens with physicians or healthcare practitioners and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance
- Aware and knowledgeable of federal and state laws and regulations regarding assisted living/memory care and the regulations of the state's nursing commission.
- Maintain regulatory compliance with all such regulations.
- Coordinate Care and Services
- Facilitate the overall coordination and management of care and services for residents.
- Supervise the Resident Services Department, including the move-in process, assessment and service plan development, staff training and education, and delegation of tasks to RNs and LPNs.
- Quality Assurance
- Complete routine auditing of all Resident Care systems, in accordance with the Resident Care Services Review Schedule and other associate QA tools.
- Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with a valid Ohio license.
- Must have an Ohio license in good standing.
- Experience and passion in working with seniors.
- Able to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60lbs.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
- In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.
