Pediatric Pulmonary Specialist Job Opportunity

About the Role

This 26-week travel contract offers a unique chance to work as a pediatric physician assistant in a hospital setting. The role involves working 40 hours a week with a day shift schedule, four days on-site at the hospital and one day remotely from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient care, including ventilator management and tracheostomy care, with expertise in pediatric pulmonary or critical care.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Board Certification: CPNP-AC (highly preferred)
  • EMR experience: Epic
  • Licensure: California (yes for NP, yes for PA)
  • Certifications: PALS, BLS
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric pulmonary or critical care experience required
  • Vent management experience strongly preferred
  • Pediatric trach and vent experience highly preferred
  • General pulm experience (e.g., asthma action plans) a plus
  • Sleep study experience a plus

Compensation Package

The compensation package includes an hourly rate of $114.00 and a weekly stipend of $2,548.

Shift Preference

Preferential consideration will be given to candidates who can commit to an 8-hour shift, four days a week, with one day worked remotely from home. May consider 4x10 shifts.

Additional Information

No call, night shifts, or weekend work is involved in this position.
