Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Experience Manager to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading front-end operations, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage front-end operations, including customer service, sales floor management, and cash handling.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive customer engagement, loyalty, and retention.
  • Collaborate with store managers to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Manage and develop a team of customer experience specialists, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining store displays.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including store displays, fixtures, and signage.
  • Support store events, including class and in-store events, and ensure effective execution.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs, including inventory control and loss prevention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with store managers, team members, and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
