Job Title: Senior Dietitian

Providence Health & Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Dietitian to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT.

Job Summary:

The Senior Dietitian will assist in directing and supervising personnel in the Food and Nutrition department to provide quality healthcare services to patients. The ideal candidate will be competent in providing medical nutrition therapy, nutrition support, and nutrition education to a variety of patients in all patient care settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform nutritional assessments and implement nutritional care plans
  • Document assessments and re-assessments in the computer medical record
  • Collaborate with food service staff to provide quality meals to patients
  • Provide education to physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff on evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition
  • Present research articles in a hospital-associated journal club
  • Act as a primary clinical preceptor to dietetic interns from the Montana Dietetic Internship program
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics or related field
  • Master's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics or related field (i.e. sports nutrition, exercise physiology, education)
  • Montana Nutritionist License within 6 months of hire
  • National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
