Job Summary

The Lewis Brisbois office is seeking a skilled Conflicts Attorney to join the Office of General Counsel's Conflicts Department. This role involves reviewing conflict check reports, identifying potential conflicts of interest, and advising attorneys on clearance procedures.

This position ensures new hires comply with the Firm's conflicts and risk management policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and complex problem-solving, with experience in a large law firm setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze conflict check reports to identify potential conflicts of interest
  • Advise attorneys on clearance procedures and ensure compliance with Firm policies
  • Collaborate with the Conflicts Department to resolve conflicts and ensure new hires are compliant
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive data, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate degree (JD) and active membership in the California Bar
  • At least three to ten years of experience as a Lateral Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm setting
  • Familiarity with LawTime and/or Aderant is preferred
Compensation

The salary range for this position is USD $140,000.00/Yr. to USD $175,000.00/Yr.
