- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Operational Efficiency: Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Documentation and Communication: Complete electronic documentation of service-related tasks, materials, and labor hours, and effectively communicate with customers to explain service charges and work performed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory stock on the service vehicle to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Administrative Tasks: Reconcile work order documents, vendor packing slips, and weekly time sheets for supervisor review.
- Commercial HVAC Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC chiller technician roles.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to follow construction plans and specifications for proper installation and repair.
- Certifications and Licenses: Valid EPA Card and TDLR required.
- Personal Qualities: Must be able to pass a drug screen, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record.
