AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth from a diverse range of clients, from small and mid-market accounts to large enterprise customers, including those in the public sector.

Team Overview
Team Engage is tasked with developing and managing both first-party and third-party solutions that align with SMGS' objectives, aiming to foster positive outcomes for our customers.

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer (SDE) who is enthusiastic about leveraging cutting-edge technology, committed to enhancing customer experiences, and eager to tackle the challenges of creating innovative solutions within our dynamic team environment.

Technical Environment
Our solutions are built utilizing AWS services such as CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB, along with third-party platforms.

Key Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer, you will:

  • Contribute to both backend services and frontend user interfaces across various products.
  • Collaborate with the team to write and review technical designs, integrating feedback to refine the designs.
  • Develop services and user interfaces that are secure, efficient, and scalable, while meeting specified requirements.
  • Promote high standards and best practices within the codebase and the team.
  • Identify and resolve bugs, ensuring operational completeness of your code.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Over 3 years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Familiarity with professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development lifecycle.
