About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our Cloud Infrastructure Automation team at Amazon Services LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Familiarity with building JavaScript/ Frameworks or shared component libraries used in large scale production websites
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
