Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve desired business outcomes through advisor support and platform training.
  • Provide assistance to Insurance Exchange broker-dealer, advisor, and insurance carrier clients.
  • Manage incoming production issues through a ticketing system.
  • Gather relevant information to assess key platform performance metrics.
  • Triage, escalate, and monitor issues effectively.
  • Communicate issues promptly to optimize business results.
  • Support team members in data collection and synthesis as directed by senior associates and management.
  • Conduct training sessions for platform users in both individual and group settings.
  • Participate in status meetings, sharing insights regarding client experiences and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Monitor performance metrics for production systems, resolve performance challenges, collaborate with internal teams to identify root causes of technical issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Provide first-line support for all platform applications, assist end users, and proactively identify any production issues that may disrupt business operations.
  • Maintain scheduled jobs, troubleshoot technical processes, and resolve issues.

Platform Knowledge

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of insurance annuity products.
  • Acquire the skills necessary to utilize internal tools for effective issue management, workstreams, and communications.
  • Enhance subject matter expertise regarding insurance industry data structures and technologies.
  • Learn and apply testing methodologies during software releases and product implementations to ensure the Insurance Exchange operates as intended.
  • Design and lead training programs for users in both individual and group settings.

Professional Skills

  • Promote a client-focused culture and deliver positive client experiences.
  • Exhibit effective written and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
  • Basic understanding of the financial advisory business.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle is advantageous.
  • General knowledge of data structures and databases is beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of annuity insurance products is a plus.
  • Experience in end-to-end software testing is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

Work Schedule

This position primarily follows a Monday to Friday schedule during standard business hours; however, due to the operational needs of our growing company, some work outside of standard hours may be required.
