Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Field Technician to join our Power Distribution Engineering team in Nashville, Tennessee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing visual inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities and equipment, compiling field data, and preparing maintenance reports.
Key Responsibilities- Perform visual inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities and equipment
- Compile field data and prepare maintenance reports
- Assist in storm damage assessments and provide support for areas in and out of state
- Travel extensively (at least 75% of working hours) to various locations, including Nashville and surrounding areas
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, clients, and agencies
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Familiarity with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) or utility experience preferred
- Knowledge of computers and software applications (MS Office products) desired
- Clean and valid driver's license required

In accordance with local law, the salary range for this position is $23.00 per hour.
