Job Summary
Northwell Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient interviews, explain policies and procedures, and assess patient health status.
- Develop and implement individualized patient plans, including care activities and priorities.
- Implement the plan of care, maintain constant vigilance, and ensure safety precautions are followed.
- Administer medications correctly and safely, and educate patients and significant others about drug and food interactions.
- Participate in patient and family education, provide emotional support, and recognize health teaching opportunities.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
- Specialized certifications as needed.
