USA Rugby Business Operations Director

USA Rugby is seeking a strategic and results-driven individual to join our team as the Director of Business Operations. This role is crucial in overseeing the operational aspects of our organization, including financial management, strategic planning, compliance, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily business operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes across all departments.
  • Financial Management: Manage to the organization's set budget, supporting financial stability and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business strategies that support the organization's growth and sustainability.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Human Resources and Administration: Work with the senior team to oversee talent management, including recruitment, retention, and employee development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and other rugby organizations.
  • Technology and Innovation: Identify and implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and organizational performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • At least 7-15 years of experience in business operations, preferably in sports or a related field.
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships.
  • Knowledge of rugby and a passion for sports administration is highly desirable.
  • Experience with compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This is a Denver, CO based position and candidate must be based on Denver, CO.
