Restaurant Operations Manager

Summary: The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of fast, accurate sandwiches and world-class customer service while maintaining a clean, organized shift. This role supports the General Manager in managing all functions of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
- Assist in the supervision of food preparation, sales, and service operations, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
- Forecast and estimate food item needs, ensuring minimal waste and theft.
- Supervise food preparation and service operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Ensure every customer receives world-class customer service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Route deliveries and supervise drivers to maximize delivery business and speed.
- Complete daily and weekly paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Audit previous shift's systems and procedures, ensuring 100% integrity and completeness.
- Perform other related duties as required, supporting the General Manager and restaurant operations.
Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly.
- Strong math abilities, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages.
- Ability to use personal computers and software, such as Excel and Word.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, occasionally exposed to mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate.
Special Requirements:
Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends as business dictates. Must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, clean driving record, and physical stamina to work 50-60 hours per week.
