Advanced Practice RN 2 Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Advanced Practice RN 2 to join our team at the Georgia Department of Public Health. This role will involve providing advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in specialized areas, operating under written nurse protocol agreement with delegating physicians, conducting complete physicals, providing treatment, and counseling clients.
Responsibilities- Perform advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in specialized areas
- Operate under written nurse protocol agreement with delegating physicians
- Conduct complete physicals, provide treatment, and counsel clients
- May prescribe medication in some cases
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing
- Certification in the specialty area(s) approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing
- Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse and Georgia license as an APRN
- CPR certification
