About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Associate - Paint and Decorating. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers on our products and services.
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits, and communicate this information to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stock shelves and displays.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, and assist with making deliveries as needed.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest ways to improve sales.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
