ROLE OVERVIEW: The IT Support Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service to end-users by providing effective solutions to a variety of technology-related issues and facilitating training on technological tools. This position serves as the primary support contact for internal customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting desktop and application technologies, including Dell and Lenovo laptops, HP and Datamax printers, and handheld scanners
Preferred:
- IT certifications or equivalent experience
- Experience with applications and technologies such as:
- Trend Micro Antivirus
- Citrix
- Active Directory
- Networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS
- VPN client configuration
- Microsoft Exchange/Outlook: Rule creation
- Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in Macros and formulas
- SQL or Microsoft Access database management
- Remote support tools, preferably Bomgar
Essential skills include a strong understanding of the Windows operating system and proficiency in desktop productivity software such as MS Office.
