**Job Summary:**
Gpac is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agricultural Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our service department and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Development: Develop contracts for contractors with ongoing equipment rentals or purchase needs.
- Service Staff Training: Train service staff on best practices in customer satisfaction and brand promotion.
- Scheduling and Priority Management: Develop, maintain, and adhere to a priority system for scheduling all service work, both customer and internal.
- Work Order Management: Manage work order systems, including invoice logging, and generate service invoices.
- Warranty and Claims Management: Ensure that all manufacturer warranty and Product Improvement Program claims are completed and filed in a timely manner according to manufacturer's requirements.
- Employee Scheduling and Assignment: Schedule and assign job and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge.
- Service Department Maintenance: Ensure that the Service Department is equipped with the necessary tools and service equipment is available and maintained in good working order.
- Vehicle Maintenance and Purchase: Make recommendations regarding the purchase of service vehicles, correctly maintain vehicles, and complete required maintenance records.
- Training and Development: Coordinate dealership training program and service-related customer clinics.
- Professional Conduct: Conduct self in a professional manner at all times, inside and outside the dealership.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor metrics on a monthly basis to assure achievement of departmental goals.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma/GED required (Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Experience: 3+ years' in a Service Manager Position or background as Service Tech/Mechanic
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Personal Qualities: Being able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, sense of urgency, and handle people and pressure
