Client Service Coordinator

Oswald Companies is seeking a highly motivated and organized Client Service Coordinator to provide internal support to an account management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with sales and service staff, interfacing with clients and carriers, maintaining records, and performing other general administrative duties.
A Day in the Life- Provide direct administrative support as required, responding to requests for assistance in a timely and collaborative manner.
- Support the assigned team in the retention of the existing client base, conferring with the team on opportunities to up-sell and/or cross-sell additional Oswald products and services.
- Serve as a client contact, identifying and assessing customer needs quickly and accurately, solving problems systematically using sound business judgment.
- Respond to enrollment, billing, claims, and other administrative issues, ensuring a complete solution is provided to the client's satisfaction, documenting the details and outcomes of each support event.
- Interface with both client and vendor to secure all account documents, building files in the internal, shared computer systems and cataloguing documents appropriately.
- Maintain and update client information within the system of record, ensuring all information is accurately and thoroughly entered into the system on a timely basis.
- Support the client's integrated and comprehensive health management strategy, capturing meeting notes collected by the Client Manager and incorporating that information into the appropriate data system.
- Monitor the progress of meeting action items, initiating response from vendors or internal staff, and documenting the results for feedback to the client.
- Strive to understand the details of Healthcare Reform, HIPAA, COBRA, and other legislation affecting the business unit.
- A college degree is an advantage but not a requirement.
- At least 1 to 3 years of industry knowledge is preferred, including experience in medical benefits and ancillary lines of coverage.
- The position requires the ability to multi-task simultaneously across employer groups.
- Ability to professionally communicate in both written and verbal forms, using proper grammar in all communications.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are required.
- Ability to be comfortable communicating with HR teams as well as employees of all job levels.
- Obtain Health and Life license within 12 months of start date.
