Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations for the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and hotel industry accounting standards.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
- Develop and maintain financial strategies, cash flow management, and investment planning.
- Supervise and lead the finance team, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with department heads to set budgets and manage expenditures.
- Conduct internal audits and work with external auditors as needed.
- Ensure accurate preparation and presentation of financial statements.
- Monitor and manage risk, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and financial performance metrics.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
