- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and training
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Java EE and microservices development
- Excellent knowledge of Java EE (version 5 or higher) and experience in either Java application servers (such as Oracle WebLogic, JBoss EAP, or Tomcat) or microservices development (including web APIs, REST, SOAP, and container-based infrastructure like Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and Terraform)
- Strong team and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in German (B2 level)
