Position Overview

As a Unit Manager - LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering compliant, high-quality, and cost-effective healthcare services while ensuring positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and staff within your designated unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure sufficient nursing coverage for safe patient care.
  • Supervision: Provide professional oversight and guidance to non-professional staff within the unit.
  • Staff Development: Assess educational needs of the team and collaborate with the Nurse Educator to create relevant training programs.
  • Medication Management: Oversee the handling and management of medications, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Direct Patient Care: Engage in direct patient care alongside unit nurses to maintain clinical skills.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
  • Current licensure from the State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
  • A minimum of one year of management experience in nursing.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
