Job Title: Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician to join our team at N C Machinery. As a Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, including engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, including engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Use CAT diagnostic equipment and repair tooling to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Work with rigging and blocking equipment to safely move and position heavy equipment
  • Plan and organize work to ensure efficient and cost-effective repairs
  • Investigate and analyze problems to identify root causes and recommend solutions
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license - CDL Class B required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook)
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day and perform physical tasks such as twisting, bending, squatting, sitting, stooping, and kneeling
  • Flexibility to travel for extended periods of time to work with customers
