Job Description

Software Scrum Master

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Software Scrum Master to join our team. As a key member of our agile development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our software projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Lead Agile Development: Plan and execute agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Facilitate Communication: Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Design and Develop Software: Contribute to the design and development of software solutions, leveraging your technical expertise and experience.
  • Monitor and Report Progress: Track and report project progress, identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks and risks.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, C/C++, or similar programming languages, as well as experience with agile metrics, software engineering processes, and best practices.
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile Certifications: CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certifications.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in object-oriented design, DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development, and automated testing.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working with satellite ground system software, including mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.
Compensation

$100.00 per hour. Pay range may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.
