Compensation:

$55,000 - $60,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance

  • Oversee that all transactions adhere to compliance standards, either personally or through the support team.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks throughout the day, including evenings, covering listings, contracts, signage, marketing materials, etc.
  • Stay updated on current regulations and changes by participating in educational sessions, broker meetings, and reviewing materials from relevant authorities.
  • Ensure agents fulfill their continuing education requirements and settle their dues promptly.
  • Act as the liaison between the market center and legal representatives regarding any lawsuits or complaints, ensuring timely reporting.
  • Research compliance rules and regulations as required by agents.
  • Provide guidance to agents on compliance-related issues, being available for urgent matters during weekends and evenings.
  • Review and approve agent marketing materials to ensure alignment with current guidelines.

Educational Initiatives

  • Facilitate training sessions on various topics, including contract writing, listing procedures, open house hosting, MLS utilization, and compliance awareness.
  • Lead a 'Broker Moment' during team meetings to discuss relevant updates and topics.
  • Distribute a weekly newsletter to the market center highlighting compliance education and important updates.
  • Coordinate with instructors to provide continuing education credits within the market center.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid MD Broker License.
  • Have a background in Sales or Commercial Real Estate.
  • Exhibit a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative approach and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Work effectively with other brokers and support staff to drive success across all business levels.
