As an Airport Planning Consultant at InterVISTAS, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise related to airport planning and operations. With a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills, you will contribute to the success of our aviation consultancy.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various analyses, including:

  • Traffic engineering studies to optimize airport roadways and curbsides
  • Terminal facility planning and design to enhance passenger experience
  • Airfield and airspace analyses to ensure safe operations
  • Demand and capacity analyses to inform master planning decisions
  • Parking facility planning to meet growing demand
  • Policy studies to shape the future of airport development

Requirements

Education: A graduate degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, traffic engineering, industrial/operations engineering, or a related field is required. Alternatively, an undergraduate degree with two or more years of relevant experience is also acceptable.

Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough data analysis and provide sound interpretations
  • Excellent communication and writing skills to translate data into compelling reports and presentations
  • Ability to visualize and develop concepts in two and three dimensions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external clients

Desirable Qualifications: While not mandatory, having up to five years of related experience in airport planning, traffic engineering, civil engineering, or related aviation industry experience can be beneficial. Additionally, proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Revit, Sketchup, VISSIM, Synchro, and data analysis packages can be advantageous.

Estimated Salary Range:

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
