Stewart Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Planning Professional to join their team. With a strong background in transportation engineering, this role will be responsible for mentoring junior planners, coordinating with clients, and overseeing project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project schedule adherence and ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Prepare and complete planning tasks, including document production, surveys, and public meetings.
  • Schedule and conduct field observations and data collection activities.
  • Develop project strategies, identifying milestones, planning techniques, stakeholders, and project objectives.
  • Analyze technical problems, assessing feasibility and devising new approaches.
  • Manage projects, coordinating with clients, directing the planning process, and leading the project team.
  • Coordinate with clients to define work programs and budgets, providing leadership in project planning and strategy.
  • Complete work accurately, adhering to good planning codes and practices.
  • Multi-task and communicate schedule and progress on assigned tasks.
  • Secure and manage successful, profitable projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in planning or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in transportation planning.
  • American Institute of Certified Planning (AICP) credentials or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), required.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
  • GIS software experience, required.
  • NEPA/SEPA experience, required.

Competitive Salary:$85,000 - $110,000 per year
