Under the guidance of the Director of Enterprise Project Management, this role is tasked with the organized oversight of multiple interconnected projects, primarily focusing on technology initiatives. Act as a strategic advisor to various business units by comprehending their needs, workflows, terminology, and concepts, which leads to the development of comprehensive project plans and effective follow-up. Lead project teams while ensuring the application of standard EPMO tools for tracking and reporting all facets of project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans and initiate projects to support team leaders in managing costs, timelines, and performance of project elements, while striving for the overall success and acceptance of the program.
  • Ensure adherence to established EPMO Project Management standards across all departmental projects by educating and assisting others in project implementation.
  • Oversee a portfolio of IT and enterprise projects simultaneously, which may encompass various business units.
  • Collaborate with Project Sponsors and stakeholders to establish deadlines, allocate resources and tasks, and integrate these elements into project plans for monitoring and progress tracking.
  • Exhibit and apply a deep understanding of project management tools, techniques, concepts, practices, and procedures to effectively drive assigned projects.
  • Prepare succinct reports on project status and communicate changes to team members to ensure proper execution and escalation.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in project management methodologies according to the size and scope of the project.
  • Maintain all business unit projects to ensure they are part of the organization's project portfolio, promoting transparency through effective communication, reporting, and documentation.
  • Continuously align project scope with strategic objectives and budget, providing recommendations to modify projects to enhance effectiveness towards business outcomes or strategic goals.
  • Proactively evaluate and manage project risks, determining appropriate actions to mitigate them, including resource allocation and budget constraints.
  • Engage with decision-makers, stakeholders, and end-users to gather, review, and compile requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
  • Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at various levels, including external parties when necessary.
  • Responsible for updating the steering committee and project team regarding timelines, budgetary considerations, scope changes, and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred, or a commitment to obtain within one year.
  • CompTIA Project+ certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management is required.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and collaborative skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities to effectively partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Capability to identify issues, analyze problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.

Work Environment: This position requires onsite presence initially, with potential for hybrid work arrangements based on performance.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Compensation: Salary will be determined based on experience, education, and tenure, along with internal equity considerations.
