As a Floating Support Educator, you will play a vital role in establishing a joyful and secure atmosphere for young learners as they engage in meaningful play that supports their social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that promotes developmental growth.
  • Continuously assess each child's developmental requirements.
  • Execute approved lesson plans and daily schedules in alignment with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
  • Foster authentic relationships with each child.
  • Guide children in exploring language, literacy, science, life skills, and more.
  • Maintain a tidy classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and confident decision-making.
  • Identify the most effective teaching methods for each child as they learn about their surroundings.
Qualifications:
  • Responsible for the overall supervision and daily operations of a group of children.
  • Adhere to all regulations set forth by Primrose School of Denver North and relevant local, state, or national agencies regarding child health, safety, and care.
  • Implement approved lesson plans and daily schedules in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
  • Maintain an appealing and organized classroom that fosters creativity, exploration, and confident decision-making.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep and necessary cleaning of the classroom, shared spaces, and outdoor areas.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance in line with the guidelines provided in the Primrose School of Denver North Employee Handbook.
  • Assist in other roles as determined necessary by the Director or designated representative.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Meet the basic requirements set by local childcare regulatory agencies.
  • Prior experience in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
  • Understanding of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the safety and facilitation of child-related activities.
  • Qualified as an ECT/Lead Teacher.
