Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services to our customers.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services to ensure their vehicles are running safely and efficiently.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities with friendly faces, interacting with customers and drivers from all over.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
