ER & R Mechanic

The City of Centralia is seeking a skilled ER & R Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for analyzing problems and performing duties necessary to overhaul, repair, and maintain city equipment, including standard and specialized gasoline and diesel vehicles, ER&R maintained vehicles, and maintenance equipment.

• Analyzes problems and performs all duties necessary to overhaul, repair, and maintain city equipment.
• Valid Washington State driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
• Must have CDL endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED plus two years of specialized training in automotive and/or heavy equipment systems repair and four years of progressively responsible experience as a vehicle mechanic, or any combination of experience and education which provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the job.
