The Maintenance Manager is a key leadership position responsible for the overall performance and operating results of the Maintenance Department at Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. This role provides strategic leadership of the site Maintenance team, with direct reports including Maintenance supervisors, technicians, clerks, and coordinators.
Key Responsibilities- Asset Utilization and Uptime: Develop and implement proven Professional Maintenance and reliability improvement processes to optimize asset utilization and uptime throughout the plant.
- Maintenance Support: Ensure responsive and proactive maintenance support to all plant partners by implementing sound work management processes.
- Department Budget and Staff Development: Manage the department budget and oversee the professional and technical development of staff.
- Maintenance Metrics: Achieve maintenance metrics and seek methods to reduce utilities consumption and protect the environment.
- Culture of Accountability: Build a culture of accountability and ownership within the maintenance department.
- Problem-Solving: Employ Practical Problem-Solving techniques to achieve root cause for failures.
- Preventive Maintenance: Drive the preventive Maintenance program enabling proactive vs. reactive repairs.
- Department Goals: Define and execute department goals supporting Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) objectives.
- Team Development: Oversee and support the professional development of the maintenance team members.
- Methodologies and Efficiency: Develop, implement, and analyze working methodologies to improve factory efficiency and reliability.
- Predictive Maintenance: Champion, drive, and measure improvement initiatives to reduce equipment downtime, improve equipment availability, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Communication: Effectively communicate change and champion within the site and network.
- Stockroom Operation: Manage the stockroom operation that provides repair parts for critical process equipment.
- Maintenance Budget: Responsible for maintaining the yearly maintenance budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Report food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance to plant or division personnel.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management and leadership. They will be able to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, manage budgets, and lead a team of maintenance professionals.
