Job Overview

Leapros Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Data Center Installation Technicians for various local structured cabling positions throughout the Atlanta, GA area. We are partnered with a leading telecommunications and structured cabling company and have opportunities available for technicians of all skill sets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install support structures, such as cable trays and conduit, for efficient cable routing
  • Pull and route low-voltage cabling, including CAT 5/6, coaxial, fiber optics, and more
  • Terminate cable and distribution frames, ensuring proper connections and signal transmission
  • Troubleshoot cable infrastructure on commercial or industrial projects, identifying and resolving issues promptly
  • Communicate effectively with team members, including fellow technicians, Project Managers, and Superintendents
  • Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels
Requirements
  • Previous experience in structured cabling and telecommunications installation is a plus but not required
  • Fiber splicing and termination is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of universal color codes for cable identification and labeling
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as EIA, TIA, BICSI, or NEC is not required, however, preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Outside Plant (OSP) experience is a plus
