Data Center Technician II

At DataBank, we're seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician II to join our Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide proactive end-user customer service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Maintain accurate chain-of-custody logs and ensure facility cleanliness.
- Handle trouble tickets and remote hands requests from inception to resolution.
- Install and maintain various circuits, including Ethernet, Sonet, and Dark Fiber.
- Monitor business-critical systems and escalate issues accordingly.
- Drive internal and customer compliance to our security standards.
- High school diploma required.
- Previous NOC/SOC/IOC experience and/or data center experience preferred.
- College degree in a related discipline preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience or demonstrated ability to meet these responsibilities/qualifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge and skills immediately.
- Ability to assess situations and escalate properly, following internal procedures.
