The Role
The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of experience as a family-based immigration paralegal within a law firm setting. They should be adept at completing essential government forms, compiling and preparing evidence of relationships, and assembling applications for immigration submission. Proficiency in both written and verbal English is required. A keen eye for detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive under pressure are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist immigration clients in completing their petitions and applications to the relevant government agencies.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide updates on their cases.
- Conduct client meetings via video conferencing to address inquiries and offer guidance.
- Prepare clients for their immigration interviews.
- Effectively manage and organize individual caseloads.
- Collaborate with government agencies to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Prepare documentation for local Congressional offices when a client's case is experiencing delays.
- Draft legal documents and waiver arguments for attorney review.
- Prepare various immigration applications, including but not limited to: I-129F, I-130, I-485, I-765, I-864(A), I-751, I-90, I-134, I-601, N-400, and DS-260.
- Develop and implement new systems and procedures to enhance efficiency for clients and the team.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Essential: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a family-based immigration paralegal in a law firm.
- Experience meeting daily billable hour requirements.
- Ability to independently manage cases from initiation to completion.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to creating efficient systems for case processing.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients.

- Self-motivated with a genuine interest in supporting clients' needs.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer competitive compensation based on your experience, with pay rates that exceed industry standards. After your initial 90 days, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health savings accounts, health insurance, vision, and dental coverage. From your first day, you will also have access to firm-sponsored short-term and long-term disability insurance and life insurance plans. To support your financial future, we provide an IRA plan with a generous firm match.
