Job Summary:

As a key member of the LifeBridge Health team, the Ambulatory Nurse Educator will provide professional development expertise to staff in the ambulatory setting. This role will involve:

  • Developing and implementing educational programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Providing orientation and continuing education to clinical staff
  • Fostering a culture of excellence and empowerment among staff
  • Assessing learning needs and evaluating program outcomes
  • Delivering information effectively to adult learners through various teaching styles

Responsibilities:

The Ambulatory Nurse Educator will be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering educational programs that meet the needs of clinical staff
  • Collaborating with directors and managers to develop and implement clinical programs
  • Conducting competency assessments and providing feedback to staff
  • Leading and maintaining clinical programs and courses
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the Ambulatory Nurse Educator will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in a clinical or educational setting
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association CPR certification
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or educational role
